Welcome to the Maestro Forums Walkthrough! This walkthrough will show you how to post assignments and responses onto the Maestro forums. We will begin at the Maestro login.
After logging in and seeing the “Home” page screen, at the top left corner in dark blue, you should notice the forums button. Click “Forum” to go to the next screen.

After clicking “Forum” you should see a list of our current courses for the semester. For this walkthrough, we will pretend to be ED 601: Action Research in the Classroom students. We will then click on our course, ED 601.

Each course should have a thread in place for each assignment for the semester. Depending on the course some may have more required responses (and thus more threads) than others. For the sake of our walkthrough we will try to complete the “Introduction” assignment. Clicking on the “Introduction” thread should look like this:

The first post on each thread is a description of the assignment. You then have the option to either “Reply” to a post or create a “New Post.” Let’s click on “New Post” first.

Type the assignment you intend to post and scroll down. When you have written your message, click the “Post” button for it to appear on the forum. The result should look like this:

The reply screen looks like this. Generally replying is a way to respond directly to a specific person’s comment or post. Since I am replying to the first post, the message I am replying to is included. After typing text, scroll down and click “Post.”

It should appear on the forums like this:

Please email SMilitello@teachereducationuniversity.com if you have any questions about using the Maestro Forums system.
